TechArt intends to showcase its latest tuning pack for the Porsche 911 Carrera, Targa and Turbo models, live at the Geneva Motor Show next year. Mind you, don’t expect full-on, wide-body offerings with a wide array of mods from the get-go, as the tuning house states that several new options for the 2016 models are yet to come.
So, apart from the new wheels and a de-badging diet, this 911 comes relatively stock for a TechArt-branded Porsche. But the changes are there, and some of the eagled eyed readers might have noticed that tuner went for the 2017MY Carrera S – which in stock form develops 420 PS (414 HP).
Worry not; this is just the beginning and we're fairly confident that, in true TechArt style, future projects will benefit from performance gains, exhaust mods and carbon-fiber enhanced aerodynamics. The visual mods won't miss as well, although the German tuning house isn’t the kind of company to go with outrageous add-ons.
I’m glad to hear that Porsche is intending to stay true to its simplistic roots. No matter how enticing being an artistic vehicle may be, what will always matter the most, is the engine under the hood I think!
